The CD&DVD Label Maker installer is a lightweight 627Kb in size; it will take very little time to download such a small file onto your PC. Run the aforementioned installer and you will be presented with a setup wizard. Click through the wizard and few moments later you will be done with the installation process.

The main panel on the left displays a preview of the label you’re working on. The panel to the right presents several customization options: choose the type of case you want to create, add any image you want, add text, and so on. Even a complete novice will have no problems with this very simple, very easy to use interface.

The first step in designing a label is to pick the type of label you want to create; you can choose between Standard, Mini Disk, Jewel Case, and Mini Case. Next up, you can choose to add an image to your design; after you select the image you want, you can arrange it as you see fit. Moving on, you can also choose to add text to the design; you can type in anything you want, change the font type and size, change the font color, and arrange the text anywhere you want on your design. Once you’re done, you can save the design, export it, or print it out.
